Mostly on Mastodon, but trying out Lemmy and enjoying it a lot.

What a beautiful site, greens and Nazis joining forces against a deal with the Global South /s.

Thank you, I’m keeping an eye on all these novelties. Was trying a luxembourgish alternative to Instagram, Monnett but was not very convinced…

Which one if you don’t mind me asking? Or it’s only directed to Norwegians?

Everything starts with political will and vision, so it’s good that this is there already.

Including simplified concepts. Words can even have multiple and not overlapping meanings.

This, the EUs achievements are insanely underestimated. Often the people critizicing the EU for lack of action also vote for parties who only want to take power from the EU… and it ain’t that much.

Passivity and lack of decisiveness? The EU is still mostly a club of national governments working mostly on consensus basis. Considering that, its achievements are quite incredible and unmatched world wide. Regions with much more similar countries, south America for instance, haven’t managed yet.

And yet it’s a simplification everyone uses and understands.

Just like not every American country is in the US and yet…

Still in January, still a good time to make the resolution to drop US sites and apps this year, there are alternatives.

Apparent suicide at the Russian embassy… Sounds legit :/

Repeating mistakes, taking years to drop a platform owned by a nazi to just run into the next US platform ready to be bought by some other billionaire Nazi… nothing was learnt, was it?

I mean, they would never be seen as such… they would be like Samoans or at best, Hawaiian natives…

Swedes pilling up Qurans for the winter to save on wood in 1, 2…
The far left did vote with them, some parties on the far left also do present themselves as greens, like the Portuguese green party (although they don’t have MEPs anymore).
But when the supposed moderate Greens side with Russian puppets on the far-left and far-right to sabotage a deal with Global South countries, I guess we can’t call them moderate any longer… Aggressively defending protectionism to European farmers and wasting an opportunity to improve the environmental standards in South American farming industry. This at a moment when Europe desperately needs to strengthen relations with middle powers like itself. This is extremist behavior.
