1·33 minutes agoFYI: in most countries, something is granted a copyright simply by virtue of having been published. If the claimant has unpublished work, they can still make a claim if they can prove provenance. Copyright is something that happens (more or less) automatically.
The sticky part is that it’s a civil offense, and challenges must be extensively adjudicated-- which is often very expensive.

Blaming all jews for the actions of Israel (or any religion for the actions of a few) would be like blaming all Christians in the world for the actions of Trump, just because he happens to be Christian.

Downloading data and saving data are two separate and distinct functions that describe a different process. While they may have a similar result, they are not the same thing.
You may not understand that, even after I’ve explained it a second time, but they’re not the same thing. They work differently, occurring different contexts, and a single icon should not be used to communicate two distinct concepts. That’s why there are two separate icons.
Whether the save icon is that of a floppy disk or not, doesn’t change that.
And your argument basically amounts to that people are too stupid to care.
But you raise a good point: why would it need to be changed? It’s everywhere, everyone already knows it, it works. Why change it? After all, you seem to think that people are too stupid to care.
Then why do you care?
They need to be separate because saving and downloading are two separate things.
When I’m in Photoshop, I don’t download the file I’m working on. I save it.
There’s a good reason that these two icons are currently different.

I didn’t know it was a popular belief that prenups, themselves are bad. I always thought it was because, for most of us, our only exposure to them is when something bad happens, causing the prenup to come into effect. Lots of negative associations with the tumult of divorce, the trouble that might lead to one, and the ugliness of the adjudication of the prenup, as they can get nasty.
also, as been mentioned here already: the lack of trust implied by even having one.
