Yea, that Clie (thanks for reminding me of the spelling btw) was great. It had a decent lithium battery (palms had alkaline batteries ant the time) and fit in my pocket as well as the early iPhones.
I ended up using the dock from the old Palm Pilot with a usb cord grafted on the end to download images from those ‘one time use’ digital cameras from Ritz.
It’s too bad LocalMotors never really worked out. It could have been an open source car company, but instead it was a weird designed by committee expensive car.
Factory cars these days are so locked down that in order to replace some sensors or controllers you have to log into a paid (like sometime $30+ an day) online portal to enable the new part. It’s super fucked.

I think sunk cost fallacy and religious world views have a lot in common. Both are an investment in time, money, or attention—that could be felt as a total waste if the project or belief is abandoned. With religion it’s often worse because you also lose your community and possibly friends and family depending on how fundamental they are.

I would call that a wagon. There are foldable wagons, but finding a good quality, heavy duty one will be difficult. Also the collapsible ones are usually fabric, and if you need better support, you’ll probably need to add a plywood floor or more to it.
