Recently finished a side project and I was glad I could go with pure login/pass auth. No email no oauth, just a pass phrase for account recovery. It’s refreshing and so damn simple.

Yes i saw that benchmark and was honestly not surprised with the results. It seems that Anthropic really focused on those issues above and beyond what was done in other labs.

Honestly Claude is not that sycophantic. It often tells me I’m flat out wrong, and it generally challenges a lot of my decisions on projects. One thing I’ve also noticed on 4.6 is how often it will tell me “I don’t have the answer in my training data” and offer to do a web search rather than hallucinating an answer.

Companies that have had their whole data on Google/MS servers for 20 years certainly don’t care for privacy the way you and I do. But they are certainly realizing that US providers are not the way to go. Baby steps I guess.

Oh yes. Because Merz builds data centers, and Der Leyen is known for making IT decisions at EU companies. They also happen to be the queens of private investors.
