I can have fun while playing them, but that’s mostly for the social aspect of it. I don’t really care to discuss it outside of actually playing. Maybe it’s because my friend group is full of people who do want to discuss it and I’m just… Not that interested.

I’d much rather know if I should expect ice or wet pavement outside than whatever 1 degree F is. What’s the difference to me, functionally, between 0 and 1 degrees F?
And 100 degrees F could be a nice day or an absolute hell depending on humidity. So it’s still not useful.

On 9/11 we were told something bad was happening in the US, but no details. The teachers decided there would be no class for the rest of day, instead we’d have in-class recess until school ended. We were not informed about what was actually going on, just told to play.
I got in trouble for having fun while playing, because it was disrespectful.

Honestly, not really. They might think you’re just confused. Misgendering in that way doesn’t come across as offensive in Spanish as it does in English. There are way more effective ways to insult someone, even if you’re still aiming to demasculate them.
Unless they’re a minority, in which case they become “youth” as soon as they’re born and are treated like adults as soon as they can talk.

Being a child of immigrants, neither I nor my parents were aware that there were connotations to my super awesome purple shirt with a giant glittery “69” written on the front. It was so cheap, and way better quality than any of the other clothes we could afford. I wore it proudly at least once a week from grades 3 to 6. I visited multiple friends’ houses and parents wearing it because it was my best shirt. No one said anything about it.
Atheists don’t have a unified moral code though, since atheism doesn’t advocate for any specific one. Christianity’s moral code is undeniably flawed though, as are the ones for most religions.
Not in a good way but: “crying never solved anything.” It might not be a full solution but it sure is a relief. Still can’t cry to this day without feeling guilty about it.
Laser hair removal is a good long term solution for this.
The number of times my butt was grabbed, spanked, etc. by complete strangers any time I was out alone. And I don’t even mean as a teenager. I fully remember this happening when I was walking home from school in grade 1. It just seemed so normal even then. The adults know what they’re doing, and they’re just being playful, right?
