George R. R. Martin, the man behind Game of Thrones, has gotten a lot of flak from fans for being slow to finish the book series that the hit HBO show is based on, A Song of Ice and Fire. George has been working for three years on The Winds of Winter, the forthcoming sixth installment of the planned seven-part series, and there is no release date in sight.
That was over 10 years ago, I don’t think he’s gonna finish 😅
To be fair, the books got increasingly boring as well. I couldn’t even finish the fourth one and just gave up there
