I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they claimed the shooter is trans. They’ve done it before with absolutely no evidence.

We don’t know the politics of the shooter so far, but one thing the right seems to not understand is they have an absurdly low threshold for violence.

A right winger will assault if not kill someone for the most minor of “infractions” if they have a reason at all. Most of the time it’s just existing in a way they don’t like or “Walking while black”. They are bloodthirsty and just want to kill everyone who isn’t like them.

The left also has a threshold it’s just a lot higher. Some may even say too high, but the left doesn’t kill someone over the clothes they wear or even being directly insulted and threatened.

Most of the “violence” from the left is fucking property damage, but pushed far enough the left can and will defend themselves and their communities.

More like “hilarious”, especially since he was literally doing his “we must accept shootings for the 2A” shtick. Literally would be something written in a dark comedy.

They didn’t need this. They were going to do it regardless. They might use this as an excuse, sure, but it wont’ be the reason.

He’s literally called for attacks on trans people as well as other marginalized groups. He was one of many who were laughing at assaults on liberals and the left. He and others have actively caused harm and death.

Oh, count on it. I remember the early days of the internet and file sharing. There was no validation or accountability and you really could stumble on some of the most terrible stuff without meaning to.

Realistically, no one should love how easy it is for anyone of any age to go to any search engine and search for “boobs” and just get a million images of boobs.

First. let’s not pretend the idea of a kid seeing “boobs” is in any way shape or form actually harmful. Pushing that taboo is why there is any issue in the first place.

Second: This is always a slippery slope. Even if we gave the benefit of the doubt that these things are done in with honest intentions, someone will abuse the system eventually. At least in the US the fascists have already laid out intention to classify LGBTQ people as “porn” in an effort to both silence us online and ban us in public. And what of the countless queer kids in an abusive home?

And even without someone explicitly exploiting it, there had already been instances where kids who were being actively sexually abused by the adults in their life were blocked from resources that could get them help because of content blocking like this.

Thirdly: People can take responsibility for their crotch spawn and be a fucking parent.

That’s the point. They blatantly say “someday, the Ken’s will have as much rights as women do in the real world”

The entire point is that treating people as second class like thst isn’t good, regardless of which side its coming from and that we should all be equal. The only time I’d see men complaining about that is when they don’t get it.
