  • This is 6 months too late but I still want to respond to it as it’s still relevant today, there is often confusion between https://haveno.com/ and https://haveno.exchange/, I see this from the communities perspective, if someone had not squatted Haveno.app domain when I started working on it that would have been the domain of choice however, since our project is actually now producing both desktop and mobiles clients, it’s somewhat starting to supersede the main project, not the we don’t give them full credit for the idea of forking Bisq and making it Monero-centric, it’s great work woodser has done but we just have more senior developers working on haveno.com now, we have a legal team and also some community backing, for those who can read the source that is, others seem to just think it’s a phishing site and this is just something we will have to deal with until release I guess. I want to be clear that Haveno.com is producing a client that can connect to any haveno network, not just haveno reto (retoswap) or haveno aloha (when it existed), it’s a single trustworthy client the pools together federated liquidity and promotes the decentralisation that everyone wanted from the original Haveno client. We’re not breaking any trademarks or ethics, we invested more into the domain, we invested more into the code and the team, we invested more into the planning. I know this isn’t relevant to the original point we made but the $11k I made doesn’t even come to close to the funding the work we’ve put in so far, if we want to brandish the name haveno.com rather than Haveno Plus, we will, for those who know about the name haveno.exchange they can still with the classic project.

  • I’m glad I am not the only one who see’s this, sadly he multi-accounts like crazy, it’s difficult to keep a sane track but I have monitored by behavioural mechanisms he exhibits, he’s known as Snowflake as a mod or something close on Reddit, he’s most probably just an alt of Luigi1111, I can’t pinpoint exactly why, it’s just my autistic heuristics of having spoke to them both and the way they respond, he has no real experience developing anything and when he tried to justify malicious code on Github, just comes out the the most idiotic excuses imaginable, such as multiple files being changed at once being a red flag for other projects such as Haveno Aloha and their code was reviewed by a third party on github and deemed safe but they seized the project anyway sadly but this kind of git behaviour is pretty common especially when refactoring code. So definitely at least keep a curious eye on these individuals (ofrnxmr and Luigi1111), especially that Luigi1111 doesn’t actually write any code but seems to have such a high position in the community, all very weird.

  • In defence to this, I didn’t respect the rules, that’s doesn’t mean the rules are fair, their are favoured towards the common tend of scams Luigi1111 pulls of to claim CSS and Bounty funds fraudulently even when work is completed. There is sufficenient evidence the work was though, finally completed as requested yet the milestone payout was refused, therefore, there is now a split team from core. Our team works more on the actual app being usable outside of a desktop environment, which is tremendously more useful, it’s still FOSS, it’s no loss to the community at all actually, everything that’s promised is still intended to be delivered, this will be clearer soon. However we are withholding code now just as the monero core team have withholded funds, just so that we take precendence we we release our hard work, since I’m now working with some members of the Tor project and Tail development team, who have a very good reputation, upon release you’ll firstly find it’s all open source and available to use to connect or create any network in a federated and decentralised manner, very easily. This is not possible with the classic haveno development, but we give credit to woodser for he efforts and should our project recieve any donations he will for sure be included as a 30% benefactor. Our work is being completed at https://haveno.com/ rather than https://haveno.exchange/ (which we use some of code from on desktop, not mobile), which is an important distinction, this is perhaps part of the reason the Monero core team decided not to pay our milestone, because we started to gain precedence for our work outside of the scope of the CCS and were threatened of losing market share for internal competing projects they are running such as BasicSwapDEX.com which despite being useless is somehow listed on getmonero.org as a link, weird huh? If you don’t think that’s strange especially after the fact I’ll admit the SeraiDEX, is better than what we are working on, that should for sure be listed on getmonero.org but is subject to significant scrutiny despite clearly being a better codebase than basicswapdex.com. The reason I mention this so randomly is the Luigi1111 is involved in these CCS fund laundering schemes just as he was when he stole 2000 XMR from the General Fund (the main reason fluffypony decided to petition disband core) because let’s be real, he doesn’t need to steal fund. So while yes there are speculations as to why perhaps I should not receive the remaining CSS bounty as promised, we ultimately still did and are still doing the work. So if it’s really the community that want’s this they should stick with us and not against us, either way we know the value provided by our team will be useful enough the whether you like us or hate us you’ll still prefer using out product overall, just the same way to use your fiat banks or Binance, we’re just trying to make finance a better subject for everyone, that’s really it.

  • Whatever dude, doesn’t say anything in the CCS rules about being mature, I make software, I get paid, quite simple but core couldn’t pull it off so far, last chance next community meeting or else I’ll just do my own thing with it give it a little twist and make it better, will still ultimately release something but unless the community is willing to complain to the core team that I haven’t been paid it won’t be FOSS by default, it’ll just be whatever I want cause I’ll essentially be doing it for fun when bored in my spare time , there is plenty of evidence out there if you merely search. Couldn’t care less about emotionally intelligent people or not. Pay up or fuck up basically. So sick of responding to people who can’t see through a blatant scam, yeah I’m immature get fucking used to it doesn’t mean it’s cool to just start scamming cunts does it? Fuckwit.

  • I will talk about drama only a little as I genuinely don’t have time for it managing a multi-platform app, but if ultimately I don’t get paid for it as promised then I will release a video highlighting corruption. A TLDR; is that ALL of the community drama was substantiated by a single mod on Reddit. He’s goes by the name of ofrnxmr on Matrix, annoyingly I did realise all of my respond to this and then didnt save a copy of it, it was then pretty quickly deleted from Reddit. Since monero.town is controlled my Monerobull, I’ve decided this is the safest place to address any concerns, but only if there is actually a specific concern, I wont engage in nonsense unfounded drama. Please note I have filed a police report in my jusurisdication for him essentially using his platform https://basicswapdex.com/ as a way to convince me to download something to my PC from him when I was new to the community. Ultimately, he can can be considered a very strategic but unhealthy competitor for the ‘spotlight’ of trading. I have other conspiracies which I believe should be shared too… some well-founded with evidence and some are just gut felling. I may or may not gives these out. Just remember online not all is as it seems, and you should consider the codebase as proof, as I can assure you that any concerns you have with haveno.com I will address every single of them.

Why isn’t anyone asking questions about prebuild binaries being in the Haveno Core I wonder?

Don’t take this the wrong way, I’m not attacking Haveno or there developers in any way, in fact we are very cordial and work together well when needed, but I only trust what I built, I’ve reviewed all code, and decided to not hard code binaries like this into the application as it’s impossible to audit, I had to fork the original Haveno project to remove these for the version of the core that the app uses… You’re welcome? I’ve taken extra lengths in general to make and keep Haveno MORE secure than before.

That being said, I don’t want a business relationship or even association with a non-foss entity. (I’m sorry woodser) but Vik and Woodser have equity shares of Haveno in some context, and this well established. However my version of Haveno App is entirely 100% FOSS, with no strings attached, to converge the two (especially when I have been threatened to not be paid for my 4 months work so far from your funds. Therefore, I purchased the domain fair and square at market value from a genuine buyer which whether those mods or anyone else likes it, I am entitled to do, at least this way I can take responsibility for what I build, if it’s from haveno.com you know its been evaluated by Kewbit, if it’s from haveno.exchange you know it’s been evaluated by Woodser or Vik, over time this will help you build trust with both, there is also a very clear disclaimer about this on the Github page for the app. You can understand why I say some of the things in the drama book that ofrnxmr aka snow on reddit aka PsychoticBird aka TrueBird on Matrix. He changes his name a lot but he seems to keep his main one linked to BasicSwapDex out of the drama for the most part. I wish I had time to divulge more but I’d like to move on to actual bugs and other concerns, I will try to uncover the monero corruption more if I am ultimately scammed, depending on how badly I am scammed, at the moment I can identify and provide evidence for individuals who are 100% scammers, others I am awaiting to see or need more evidence. All in good time though, as this is definitely something that the core monero can resolve internally if handled appropriately without making a public anncounement potentially devaluing the coin. I encorage fact checking on EVERYTHING, don’t just take one persons narrative as gospel (yes even if they are a mod), you’ll see the community and the growth of Monero generally improve over time then.

PS. If some mod deletes this one I will repost somewhere else.
