People can perform partisan actions and disappear into mist. Sure they find sole actors now after a while and a lot of concerted effort, but now imagine there are a few hundred of those events all over the country? If you think they would win or even be able to fight a true guerilla war on American soil, you’re delusional. Even with the brown shirts who would be willing to help, you’d have just as many that refuse and possibly switch sides.

A large part of the efficacy of vaccines comes from everyone around you also being mostly immune. If there are giant holes in the shield, everyone near those holes becomes more vulnerable. The vaccines can be overcome by the disease if enough viral load is present.

I am very happy with my time on Lemmy. A couple weird people to avoid, just like normal life. Feels like a free place to express yourself, but not be an asshole. That’s all I want from my internet.
