Started rewatching it because of this comment. It’s an ok movie. Not great but not bad per se. The eyes are an aesthetic choice and fit in with the rest of the movie, don’t bother me.

Of course I’m a sucker for most scifi, I even consider Jupiter Ascending a guilty pleasure and watched both parts of Rebel Moon. Those are objectively bad movies. Oh, and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. Great guilty pleasure.

We had many years of continuity, just like any other normal nation who has free elections and policy shifts. We are in a new paradigm now.
