PFAS, pesticides… Almost every synthetic and a lot of the natural chemicals used in industry have unknown or known-bad side effects on hormones, behaviour, brain development, everything. And most countries don’t regulate anything that doesn’t outright hospitalise you right after exposure.

And Heidegger diving into the reactionary deep end is incompatible with Nietzsche, whose actual argument re: nihilism was that things like history, tradition, and Heidegger’s “authentic Volk” are without value.

If your goals in life start and end with personal wealth, you should expect stones thrown at you. Not sure what else you’re expecting with that level of egotism.
It takes government time and money to review, approve, ensure the safety of any construction, which they could be using to come up with a solution for life expectancy decreasing, ever-longer NHS waiting lists and medication shortages, etc.
They absolutely should be prioritising general welfare over this. The reason they’re not is because the park will put more money in their own pockets, which is, as records will attest, the only thing Kid Starver’s Labour care about.
Never mind Bedfordshire, where local government seem to do little else these days aside from cutting down trees and tearing up public benches.

They have their own government, with its own policies, and de facto recognised territory.
The continued application of military force by the U.S.-backed Presidential Leadership Council, and capitulation to U.S. hegemony leading some member states of the U.N. to attempt to delegitimise them, cannot change the reality of the situation.
This would make sense if Labour weren’t a copy of the Tories, and Starmer wasn’t elected because he was another hard right figurehead running when people were upset with Tories for letting too many BAME and female people into top spots.
