I’m fine with commercial job requirements for the stops, but against having to have one on my personal table saw. It’s not like it’s just an extra couple of dollars to have the saw stop, plus the cost of a new blade and brake if it does lockdown and stop it. The system isn’t foolproof in that it only stops skin from getting cut. I could cut a piece of moist wood and it could stop. Actually, I could see that being an issue for a lot of commercial job sites. Sometimes the wood you’re cutting is going to have some rain on it.

Yeah. That’s absolutely just not true at all for almost every sport. Especially team sports. There are some competitive sports where men don’t just have an advantage, or that women have the advantage, but those are a vast minority. Some shooting events and some distance events is about it.

While I do agree (much to the dismay of many of you all here) that it is absolutely unfair to biological women to allow non biological women in competitive sports, due to the advantages that can’t go away by chemical means such as larger lungs, longer arms, and bigger hands with more stable hip bones; if I were this kid, who is apparently quite strong and athletic, I would try and have loads of fun screwing with the system they’re forcing upon him. He could really screw with them on policies. I’d imagine he could get loads of classmates to go along with helping him out, too.

While I’m sure it’s done for the sake of maximum engagement\profit, your statement is not quite true. In v bucks terms, a season pass is 950, but you can usually get back around 1500 by getting to level 100 during the season.

You can also get like 400 a season without a battle pass. So if you played for a few seasons, you could get the battle pass for free as well. Then sometimes there’s extra events and bonus v bucks you can earn and stuff. They figured out a long time ago they can make more money for the long term by staying the most popular, and the most popular means keep giving some shit away so it doesn’t get old for the people who don’t spend much, if any money. If they go away, then the people who do spend $$$ will end up moving on as well.
