I stared at it for a solid two minutes, then saw it and thought about how stupid dangerous that is.
Gas price ranges are huge by what area you’re in. You may have paid $2.90, but I paid $2.15. there’s a few areas in other states that I know are under $2.00. California probably mostly over $3.00.

Yeah, I had the ram, but the 6600xt was the most I could buy without having to also upgrade my PSU.

Likewise. I haven’t bought a game that wasn’t at least a year old in a decade. Heck, right now I’m playing Psychonauts.

Paid under $200 for it and it punches well above the 1060 I’ve been using. Wanted a Radeon because they play nicer with Linux and this card is the beefiest AMD I could go without having to also buy a new PSU. Also couldn’t go much nicer anyhow or I’d be creeping up on games cpu limited, so it pairs nicely with the r 5 5600x. So for me and my particular set up it made for a nicely balanced hardware and cost choice. After this it will just be time for all new hardware in a few more years.

That’s alright. USB rails for a PCI slot are dirt cheap.

My eyes aren’t good enough for 4k. Lol

Jokes on them I just ordered a used r 5 5600x for a $140 upgrade. My shits old as dirt. I was on a 1600x and a 1060 GPU.

I went from thinking about a full rig upgrade, to just buying the best used processor and GPU my am4 board could handle with my current PSU and ddr4 ram.
Went from a ryzen 1600x and a Nvidia 1060 to a ryzen 5 5600x and a Radeon rx 6600 xt. I’ll be able to ride that out for a few years no problem.

Pretty much every person anywhere is self centered.

I mean, if one song was released every 10 seconds, it’d take 28 years to hit 86 million songs. That sounds like a lot of Spotify.
I’m a bit over 40 but got to have some older computers at a young age. One of my boards had like 20 dip switches on it. I overclocked that shit to… 33Mhz.

I know there’s a lot of music out there, but I would have guessed the number was still less than 86,000,000 on Spotify.
But were you around for dip switches?
So you missed out on needing a manual and adjusting 20 dip switches to make your build work.

Be hard to do with such terrible support of the US people.

I mean, ai is definitely costing people their jobs, trashing the environment, increasing electricity costs, causing stupid high silicone costs, and will be used to create misinformation and push narratives like nothing else before it. But there’s also pretty much zero chance of stopping any of it. The ultra wealthy control the world. It’s a tool to make them money and gain control of information and agendas.
I bought a game on steam once that I already had on epic for free. It was on sale for like $5 on steam(Hunter: Call of the Wild), and I was curious if all the shader pre-caching and optimizations steam does with the Steam Deck would have it run better with the steam version, compared to the epic games version.
