Female characters generally get more attention from the developers (for obvious reasons), so they usually have better designs and animations, resulting in an objectively higher-quality product. It’s also fun in multiplayer games because toxic dweebs hate it when they think they lost to a girl.

Reddit can apparently automagically detect when posts/comments are glorifying violence and detect when users upvote them… Then why aren’t they just removing the “violent” comments? Why leave them up?

I think that depends largely on somebody’s “join” date. If they’re under 6 months old, they probably got banned/censored from Reddit. If they joined in the last 6-12 months, it’s probably because of Reddit’s AI policies. If they joined 12-18 months ago, it was probably due to the API changes shutting down third-party apps. If they’re older than that, then they’re probably just tankies.
