People might not be aware that Kansas is much more purple than you might think. Not as much as Colorado, but leagues more than Missouri or Oklahoma. It’s generally a live and let live but keep our taxes low and stay out of our personal business culture, and this is why the anti-abortion referendum failed. People there usually keep their politics and religion to themselves.

That said, the people most impacted by this are the very rural voters who overwhelmingly voted for Trump, not the urban and suburban voters who already have broadband. So, you know, hard to say if this story will even break through for them, or the fact that elections have consequences…
