FTWD was a massive disappointment for me. I was hoping we’d get the slow genesis of the zombie outbreak and instead they insta rushed to bring Walking Dead: California to Mexico.
I mean he should still get paid, but I agree. It very quickly became formula writing that had turned me off from TWD after a number of seasons. The first few episodes were good though, same vibes as The Last of Us in the beginning and gave me the main reason I wanted to watch, to see the start of it and how badly people did with the unknown.

I just have such a gut adverse reaction to FTWD that comes up. 100% agree the first few episodes weren’t bad.
From what I hear AMC execs love to meddle in creative decisions and it causes a lot of headaches with Fear’s production.
