AI is a weird thing right now. It’s not surprising that any company gets into it given the promise of huge money, but it does mean that technology the average enthusiast tends to rely on gets less focus, higher prices, not to mention it’s gonna be weird if the AI industry pops.
It’s not a linear good/bad thing, but it’s like when a good friend starts listening to Joe Rogan or something; it’s possibly harmful and you’d feel better if they weren’t.
