Isn’t the selling of the government’s financial assets/obligations something for Congress to decide? It’d be one thing if it were servicing the loans, but a complete transfer of ownership?

Could’ve sworn she created the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. No small feat.
She also wanted to bring consumer banking back to the post office, but that’s never gonna happen. The republicans are hell bent on privatizing the whole thing.
She and pretty much every other Democrat, so at least she’s in good company.
I wonder if courts would uphold the provisions against discharge through bankruptcy after this. Probably but I feel like they shouldn’t.
