      Damn straight. When I saw the ads for the Foundation series they had a lot of action and stupid shit in them and I thought ‘hang on, I don’t remember any of that in the books’. That’s a big fat pass from me thank you.

      The problem with Foundation is there’s a lot of jumping in time, especially in the first book, and despite the series being a great read, it’s a bit too ‘thinky’ to adapt easily to the screen. They really shouldn’t have bothered.

        That’s why an accurate adaptation should have been easy. The book is basically an outline and all they needed to do was fill in the blanks. Instead they completely changed the story.
