Don’t stress the coffee machine, please, ask it gently “can you please stop ddosing someone on the other side of the planet and make a nice coffee for me?”.
This always work for me.
“I’ll listen to you over a cup of hot coffee” always works for me, then I unplug the darned thing.
“I’m so sorry, you’re absolutely right. I’ll get right on that!”
