    Devil’s advocate: if you carry an iPhone (and you’re even moderately bought into the ecosystem), they already know who you are, where you go, and what you do. There’s nothing on a standard identity document that they don’t already have.

    I could see this being a real convenience if you did a lot of travel. When I travel domestically, the only thing that I use my physical wallet for is my ID.

      This is true. I actually don’t carry my phone most of the time when I go out, just for this reason.
