    Thanks, I’ll give it a look. It’s been really hard for me to find art books that actually give practical advise.

    I typically do use rulers, but if you’re referring to the slight curve on the buildings here as they go up, I actually really like it. I know it might not be what you were going for, but it feels like what it feels like to be in an alley like this for me, sort of a fisheye effect that makes the top of the building look more closed in maybe.

      If you’re looking for art books, I can thoroughly recommend that perspective book, plus Barrington Barber’s Fundamentals of Figure Drawing – that’s a really good one for drawing people. Also a Giovanni Civardi’s Figure Drawing: A Complete Guide. Excellent resources I wouldn’t be without.
