Enjoyed both. I feel like they did great for season 2. I’m happy so far with the product. I must be the minority. But I enjoy it.

I disagree about awful. They’ve delivered two mediocre seasons so far. Which is to say some storylines have been awful, but some storylines have been great.

I really enjoyed the Celebrimbor storyline last season for example.

It’s probably being funded by all the tech bro Tolkien “fans” in Silicon Valley.

Nah, It’s really not nearly as bad as some of the true believers want it to be.

Season 2 was much better IMO, though that’s just that*: my opinion lol

The source material was already gonna be a clusterfuck to deal with, and they are doing “OK” interpreting.

      Edit: spelling

We started the first season. But kept forgetting to keep watching it. Now we cancelled prime. Maybe some day we will watch it all.

Yeah that’s exactly how I tried approaching it. I wanted to watch Fallout, Rings of Power and something else. But, before I could ever do, I just end my Prime subscription.

Because they know that die-hard middle-earth fans want something to watch that’s middle-earth related since the LOTR movies and Hobbit movies have long been done. Least until they decide to reboot both of them like 20 or more years down the line.
