(Possibly a nooby question.)
I was watching Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and as always I instinctively went to the brightness button on my keyboard, but it was already on maximum. Why tf to they often make TV shows so damn dark nowadays?? D:
Is there please some sort of program or app for Linux Mint to make it the video a bit more brighter? I’m not exactly a tech savvy person, so I won’t be able to do anything overly elaborate.
Also remember that it’s not mastered to be watched in a small window with white or bright content surrounding it.
But as others have said, this sounds like it’s a monitor color quality issue or a calibration/settings issue with the monitor.
