    Yeah voting isn’t going to fix the problems facing this country. They never have allowed a candidate who had the will or ability.

      That’s not true either.

      “They” who control the Dem primary is one person, the chair.

      When a Dem wins the general, they nominate a chair. When Dems lose, about ~400 people get to vote to pick.

      Billionaires control the party by controlling shitty chairs like Jaime Harrison that Biden placed in 2020. But sometimes the voting members get to have a day, and some of those times they don’t fuck it up.

      So yeah, sometimes the pro-people thing to say is “fuck the DNC”. But right now saying that is what the billionaires want you to say. They want to paint Newsom/Pritzker as young upstart fighters from outside the establishment. Because the establishment doesn’t control the party for at least 3 more years.
