I’m a huge Alien fan, and I also think show seasons are meant to be watched entirely because narrative usually makes it so that there’s some sort of payoff at the end to keep you engaged for next season.
This show decided to hold back the payoff… 😬
From the get-go, I had my issues. I’ve said it elsewhere, but if I’m watching an “Alien” show I expect it to be about the xenomorphs. I’m not a fan of how android-centric they’ve been making the franchise. (Ash was but one character, and the revelation of him being an android didn’t mean as much within the first movie, just a physical representation of The Company.) Only episode I enjoyed was episode 5, which was the closest to an “Alien” episode as it could be, but the rest of the season was utter disappointment.
