Matthew 6:5 I like having a sign with just the verse on it at any public ‘christian’ event. I refuse to say which verse it is, but encourage them to look it up. Usually under the guise of, “I can’t remember the exact wording / I don’t want to misquote Jesus, so it’s more impactful if you read it for yourself. You have your bible on you, right?”

I’m glad that the Catholic church got split then (lots of shady shit, they were directly taking donations to absolve sins ie. simony or indulgence payments) but this collaboration should not be relevant for most people.
No one sees an Anglican praying with a Catholic as a grand act of unity. Certainly not in the modern day.
