Even in half, biting a copiously endowed burger still tends to spill out the opposite end. My strategy there is to bite through halfway (not completely over to the other side of the bun) and draw that bite in as this lessens the squishing action between the breading. Twist the wrist a slight bit and bite the other half to regain balance. Even then, it won’t always be a tidy affair. If required, I will set that half in my hand and will not let loose of it as that allows the contents to unravel. Stay in control and just finish the half. And because you are only holding a half, the other hand is free for napkin usage, smoking, drinking, limited sign language, fries or whatever the side dish is (man/woman/potato salad). Thanks for subscribing to my burger handling newsletter. We only publish on days that don’t end in “y”.
I like cutting my burgers in half. Gives me better control over the contents.
Thank you. I had to scroll through so many comments about disgusting holding techniques that get your hands even dirtier.
Be civilized. Cut your burger in half. You will not regret it.
