Asked what his US customers were saying, he said: “Many of them are surprised. When they saw Mr Trump talk about tariffs, they got the impression that the foreign companies are paying these tariffs, but what they now figure out is that it is the customer who pays."

Jesus fucking christ. It’s like these people are constitutionally incapable of listening to what normal Americans will tell them if they’d only listen. But they consider all normal Americans to be “radical leftists”.

These are the same people you went to school with who failed 8th grade math, science, biology, history, statistics, etc

They have no critical thinking skills and can barely read.

      Why the surprise?

I guess I’m not really surprised, but I still remain pissed. I still, on occasion, dip into Facebook and see some old classmates on there that took the burnout track (even so, some barely graduated, and at least one didn’t. Not sure if he later got his GED) of business/vo-tech.

Some are truly racist MFers and of course all are gigantic fans of donnie dumbfuck. And to a one, they all feel they know better than the smarty-pants people that went to college, as well as professors and scientists. All of them want to rely on “common sense” and think education and expertise are not only not really worthwhile, but something to avoid and something to mock.

Well in their minds their failure in education has not served them well in their lives. It was just something they were forced to endure.

They will never read a whole book or learn new information because it doesn’t serve them in their daily life.

It’s sad really. The problem is these are semi functioning adults who can vote. This is why all those tech-bros simply want to just the useful idiots until they can make voting irrelevant. Because relying on idiots to support what they don’t understand is a bad business plan.

US people hear disjointed senseless propaganda and take it at face value even though it has absolutely nothing to do with reality.
    Business as usual.
