        And from the C*U, the SPD and their shitty politics only worsening the situation for the people and making it easy AF for populist fascist rhetoric to get into people’s minds. Also their antidemocratic policies like lists for trans people, the attack on social security, the campaigns against migrants and refugees etc.

    Mainly by actors who get in power by getting elected by the majority but then representing a small minority. Demonstrating to people that the democratic system isn’t achieving the desire of their interests being represented by the government. Then domestic and foreign opportunists stick needles and wedges in the cracks in order to widen them and lodge themselves in. I think if Merkel, Sholz and Merz did what their electorates wanted on economic issues we’d found the cracks and threats to democracy small enough to ignore, and more capable to do something about them.
