    I asked her why she was there and she looked incredulous. Wasn’t it obvious? “Because Keir Starmer’s a wanker.” Why? “He’s taking our speech away.” Even though you’re allowed to sit outside his house and call him a wanker? “Well he is.”

    I wonder why the author felt the need to place this early on in the narration. As if the reader, from now on, needs to imagine a dumb bimbo that got verbally dunked on.

    Sadly the author missed the opportunity for self-reflection. They are right: people talk about them, they talk against them, but never with them. This very article being a textbook example.
