I don’t think it should be called a “protest” when it’s, like, “protesting against certain subsets of humanity existing”.
Kinda feels like a totally different thing.
Protesting is a morally neutral act so it is a protest. There was no widespread violence against minorities so “pogrom” doesn’t fit.
