" Instead , it should formally protest to the U.S. government and take diplomatic measures that prioritize workers’ rights . It is the government’s responsibility to protect the safety and rights of its citizens and workers .
The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions stands in solidarity with the workers returning home today , and strongly urges an official apology from President Trump, a halt to investment in the United States , and a responsible response from the Korean government .
