The raid at a Hyundai plant was by far the largest single-site anti-immigration swoop by the Trump administration. The incident has caused outrage in South Korea.

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung on Thursday said that the US immigration raid on a Hyundai factory was “bewildering” and could have adverse effects on future South Korean investments in the US.

The raid was the largest single-site anti-immigration operation conducted since US Donald Trump cracked down on immigration, a top political priority since he returned to office in January.

At a press conference, Lee said that the raid is likely to leave South Korean businesses “hesitant” about investing in the United States.

This is an adult, professional, diplomatic statement. It is layered. People who aren’t incompetent demented rapists know exactly what he’s saying.

What he’s saying is, “You ignorant pigfucking bastards. Our billions we’ve planned to invest are hanging by a goddamned thread. Make some nice-nice moves right now or we out. *mic drop*”

That is of course because they’re hoping cooler rational minds in the administration can convince the toddler in chief that losing billions in investment would be “bad”. They don’t know that there aren’t any cooler rational minds left.
