I know the actual answer here, but why is ok for the White House to demand public universities violate the constitution and withhold federal money if they don’t?
Because a law is only a law if someone is willing to enforce it. Otherwise its just meaningless words scribbled on paper.
Rule of law is dead because a central tenet of fascism is that “there are those that the laws bind and but do not protect, and those that the law protects but does not bind”
This is the same university that got rid of a president after uproar from alumni because the president was… hispanic! OMG! The horror1!!1!11
