Honestly I’m surprised to see Better Call Saul higher than Breaking Bad (even if only barely). Both are 10/10 shows, but obviously one can’t exist without the other, so I have a hard time putting the sequel above.

In terms of Simpsons being higher, it’s impossible to actually compare the two shows. But on a day to day basis I probably accidentally quote and think about The Simpsons all the time. Breaking Bad? Not so much. The Simpsons is a cultural phenomenon and it’s hard to just ignore that.

Breaking bad was a practice run for better call Saul. Better call Saul is the masterpiece. It also mostly works as a standalone.

Hard agree on the Simpsons though. I just pulled a “So I told the lady, your car was flipped over and on fire when we got here! And as for your mother, she shouldn’t have been mouthing off like that!”

    1. Chernobyl
    2. Mind Hunter
    3. Fargo
    4. True Detective
    5. Better Call Saul
    6. Breaking Bad
    7. Andor
    8. Sharp Objects
    9. Firefly
    10. Spartacus

Left out a lot more, so here are some others in no particular order:

    • Skins
    • Hannibal
    • Black Mirror
    • Peaky Blinders

And these are only Western shows. A couple of Korean, Japanese, and anime shows can knock some of them off the top 10

Since the bottom of the top 20 are (2) shows with 10 votes, and any show that was put as number 1 on a single list got 10 votes, is their a method to who got in and who got left out? Because I’m seeing a lot of number 1 picks left off.
