Pretty interesting show so far. The overall tone is actually closer to Resurrection and/or the schlocky AvP films, where it’s sort of taking the piss with the horror and action tropes. It’s not scary at all and is often quite funny (I think intentionally). At the same time, it obviously has some more serious themes that will be developed over time so I really have no idea what to expect from it. I’m surprised it’s as popular as it is, though, I thought there would be more pushback from people who think the IP is super serious.
