A new study published in the journal Sexuality & Culture has found that many adolescents in Spain, including those as young as 12, are not only aware of OnlyFans but also see it as a viable and even empowering way to make money. In group discussions with over 160 teenagers, researchers discovered that platforms promoting erotic content are influencing how young people—especially girls—view economic opportunity, self-worth, and sexuality. Teens frequently framed content creation as a personal choice or expression of agency, while minimizing the risks.
It’s not owed to us because nothing is, every moment of our lives is a gift and Heaven is also a gift, but we make ourselves more pleasing to God through our actions and He, being Merciful, allows us eternal life if we’re good boys and girls. We’re splitting hairs now, friend. If you work good deeds and honestly repent and change our bad ways as much as we can, God will take care of us. That’s the basis of belief regarding the Day of Judgment. That’s all.
That’s not what Jesus taught. If it’s all about good deeds, then we’re all going to hell. None of us are good. Not one.
Omg, that’s like the most black and white, Mariana Trench deep-in-the-spectrum way of seeing things… Of course no one is GOOD, “only the Father is good”, but we can be good enough (“strive to be perfect just as your Father is perfect”, knowing full well it’s a limit we’ll never touch). God made us this way, flawed and capable of both great evil and goodness, do you think he’s expecting more of us than reasonable righteousness?
If this is just your way of saying “I can’t ever be good enough so why try?”, then that’s your prerogative. There’s no need to rationalize your way into Hell though, God is Just and Merciful, do your best and He’ll be pleased.
We can’t be good enough.
Yes. His standard is perfect.
If He is Just based on our personal works, then he is sending us all to hell
You don’t believe in the God of Abraham, Moses, Solomon, Jesus and Mohammad, then. 🤷
Correct- I believe in Jesus - who is the God of Abraham, Moses and Solomon, and who throws Mohammed into the pits where there is eternal weeping and gnashing of teeth
The false god Mohammed talked about was a weak and pathetic angry man in the sky who just made up rules.
😒
God is just. Someone needs to pay the price for our sin. Can you pay the price for your sin by doing good deeds? No. If you were driving and went through a red traffic light, you won’t be able to make it up by stopping at the next few traffic lights. You’d need to pay a monetary fine. We are so helpless we cannot do more than good deeds. But good deeds are what we are required to do. In fact, failing to do a good deed is a sin.
James 1:23-27
So we need to pay for our rebellion against God. As every sin is a rebellion against God. And the punishment for that is death- eternal separation from the one we rebelled against.
But God is merciful and loving. This is why God became Man, lived the life we should have lived and died the death that we deserved, paying the punishment as an infinite sacrifice and payment for our sins, so we may be forgiven.
