Once found a fiver in the street and had ice cream

The club restaurant today had the right amount of activity - neither too empty (to the point you might as well eat at home) nor too busy (to the point you struggle finding seats). That’s lucky for me.

Bonus points watching some 12yo who probably ate twice as much as I do, little guy was hungry! (By the clothes he was probably playing baseball or something like this.)

Two weeks after my travel insurance ran out, I stepped on a baby brown snake and it didn’t bite me.

In general, I’m not sure how I’m still alive and uninjured but here I am persisting much to the annoyance of somebody out there.

Looking for things on the ground or the side of the road. Some notable items I have found:

• Unmarked envelope with ~$400 in it.
• Change purse filled with random international coins
• Pair of knipex channel lock pliers that have dog bite marks on the handles
• Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket i727
• Ticket for a festival which I then attended
• Several purses/wallets
• Many sunglasses
• Many pocket knives
• Many cool rocks and sticks

I do try and find the rightful owner to the expensive stuff.

Found >$100 twice.

Got gifted a Rhodes piano.

Had a random classmate sneak me into an event to meet the original Black Sabbath lineup on their 1999 Reunion tour and I got their autographs. Ozzy smudged the sharpie, so I’ve also got a thumbprint for “extra authenticity.”

And probably a million things in forgetting like all the stupid teenage junk I did that should have landed me in jail or dead. Good heavens I used to be a dumb kid. 😧

Got adopted into a family with wealth and morals, but not so much of the former that life has been terribly easy. I’d be lying if I said it was hard, though.
