I need £580 to pay for a course of physiotherapy treatment that isn’t available on the NHS in my local area. The physiotherapist recommended I have shockwave therapy to reduce my pain and increase my mobility after having a stroke. I’ve had two types of physiotherapy (MSK and neuro physiotherapy) on the NHS but they haven’t helped.

I’m in pain and my mobility is so reduced that I can barely walk, I can’t lift anything without getting seriously injured. This is no life. It’s absolutely miserable to the point I’ve been seriously considering suicide. If only I could get mobile enough to walk properly again, I would have some reason to live. I’m trapped indoors, bored and alone, day after day.

Due to the fact I’m going through a disability benefit appeal and have no income, I can’t pay for this myself. If anyone is able to help with any part of the cost, my paypal is the_mighty_tabs@hotmail.co.uk

So far people have donated £243 of the £580 cost. As I have some of the money, I’ve made an appointment for the consultation this Wednesday coming.

Being unable to do any exercise or get outside is not only wrecking my mental health but putting me at risk of another stroke. I’m really grateful for any help.
