Oh he will. Mark my words, he will! When the vice president of the US routinely insults other countries belittling their sacrifices during conflicts and Trump imposes crippling tarrifs on allies Starmer will definitely go postal on these two clowns. He’s going to serve them a scone with jam on first and then cream. That will show 'em you don’t mess with a former public prosecutor. His dad was a tool maker I understand 🤔.

He’s going to ask them to say thank you for British tax payers paying for their military bases. Well he won’t insist. It’ll be more of a nod, but it’ll be a tough nod.

Along with the defence stuff, this is a golden opportunity for Labour to say “Circumstances have changed and unfortunately we must begin raising more taxes”.

Polling currently supports raising taxes, everyone is fed up of wealth inequality and they have a big majority in parliament. The solution is obvious. He doesn’t even have to fall out with Trump.

I think the arrangement is that we hand over what’s left of public services to BlackRock and Palintir. That’s the reason why Trump isn’t actually sanctioning us yet. We give them everything they want without the threats.
