there is not another equivalent anywhere on the planet to Greg, try as they might to find one. the advantage the UK had was not only being first, but also Greg having been a staple of comedy already really let them just do whatever the hell they wanted.

the AU version is good but the thing that we fast forward through is the intros, it feels like the network it’s on just didn’t trust them enough to let it just be completely off the rails (eg, the spirit of the show) and it suffers as a result.
