Yeah last year 1.5 mil boomers went into retirement and only 684k people were born in 2007 and would be 18 now, its surprising that only 100k of those deboomered workplaces are considered “lost”
Logically, retiring boomers shouldn’t make jobs disappear, though, they should just make unemployment go down. It’s not like people suddenly don’t need goods and services anymore once they turn 65 or whatever’s the local retirement age.
