Do you live somewhere where it’s still illegal or something? Because I used to pay like $40-60 for an eighth depending on how good it was before legalization and now I can pay like $6 for an eighth of mids or $15-20 for some good shit.
No I im in a place where it is legal. I paid $45-60 for high grade in the 1990s in NJ and that’s the same price it is now. The higher grade stuff just got consistently better.
Crazy how the prices are so varied. Just as good as today in 1985 was $25 an eighth if you knew where to look on the west coast. There already were hybrid and medical experimental strains out for sale.
Fast forward to today and you can settle in on top shelf for anywhere from $5 to $20 an eighth. Anymore than that is crazy expensive.
But of course things that are easy to grow and were illegal before can’t really be compared to other products can they?
In NJ most of it os because it is NJ which has a higher cost of living across the state (last I checked). Until federal legalization happens everything that is sold here is grown here. That keeps prices high as bonded warehousing space is pricy here.
