Ocasio-Cortez took to Instagram after the Department of Homeland Security suggested they may pursue arrests of three Democratic lawmakers who partook in a protest outside of an ICE facility in Newark, New Jersey. Reps. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ), Rob Menendez (D-NJ) and LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) all attended the protest.

The mother who was deported took the child with her by choice. It is horrible that the child is sick but the claim of citizens are being kidnapped is misinformation. If citizens are being deported I have not seen an example of that but if you see an example please let me know.

I read about it in a news article. I think it was an interview with the head of ICE on Meet the Press.

Oh wow, so you have no source other than “maybe the head of ICE said it.”

I’m sure the mother wanted her child with stage 4 cancer to not have medicine or access to his doctor, that makes so much sense.

Few medical specialists can effectively monitor these kinds of cases; the girl’s U.S. doctors are among those with the necessary expertise. The girl needs scans and checkups every three months, her doctors told the Texas Civil Rights Project.

The surgery that saved the girl’s life last year left her with some lasting side effects. The swelling on her brain is still not fully gone, her mother said in March, causing difficulties with speech and mobility of the right side of her body.

Before the family was removed from the U.S., the girl was routinely checking in with doctors monitoring her recovery, attending rehabilitation therapy sessions and taking medication to prevent convulsions.

Did you even read the article you shared?

No you claimed they were deporting American citizens. That was your claim and that claim is untrue.

Yes, there was an interview on Meet The Press where the head of ICE was pressed on this exact issue. Maybe you should go watch it.
