I actually think he’s conceded the point that he will be leaving office eventually. That’s why he’s doubling down on his “Board of Peace” grift, not only will he be able to steal money from it but he thinks it will give him some sort of diplomatic immunity.
Considering that he’s never leaving office, I doubt he cares about president precedents.
