    It’s literally a citation. And it’s shitty. As long as there’s a unison principle for any decision (and it’s usually about the “important” ones), the EU cannot move forward.

    But more importantly, with the unison principle it’s so, so easy to sabotage the EU, as you only need to influence a single country as foreign actor. Which is just what China, Russia and USA are exploiting. The latter literally wrote it down in their national security strategy: “let’s buy out Hungary or Austria, they’re easy targets, and thus prohibit advancement of the European Union”.
