I appreciate their sentiment but I genuinely do not support giving credence to racist, fascist code words and terminology. It is bad enough that the media plays along with that bullshit. There is no such thing as “woke”, it is racism, sexism and all kinds of hate bundled up into a convenient word that allows them to feel better about themselves by shifting the label from themselves to their targeted group. Instead of THEM being racist, etc., YOU’RE “woke.”

Society absolutely needs to stop letting people get away with this. I have confronted people in my life for using that word and created some very uncomfortable situations for them. Why we allow this to propagate is baffling.

Why? Why does my dyslexia see other people’s typos but not my own? Read it as “they they’ll” but get stuck and have to reread the sentence to see if it’s my brain.

Nope, “than they’ll” is what they meant for sure.

I’ll make the same typo 1000 times and never notice it. Even though I reread everything I type at least 10x before sending a message.

      Sorry. Unnecessary comment.

Because, and I answer as someone with dysgraphia not dyslexia but they are related, you “know” what you meant to type, and so your brain will autocorrect your mistakes. You aren’t entirely certain what anyone else may have meant, so you actually make a subconscious effort to read every word since you know you will read things incorrectly.

Therefore, your brain actually makes it harder for you to see your own typos, and easier to see others.

I have placed a single typo in this comment to test your brain.

        Tap for spoiler

If you think I am missing a comma, you’re on the right track.

I get it; the fallibility is real. Keep helping others and keep trying to be awesome and it’ll work out.

          LOL 😆
          This is exactly correct.
When I was on reddit I used to get pissed that a topic worth some discussion would get railroaded by some dipshits aside-personal- experience-or-pedantism.
          Turns out, it happens here.
          And the downvotes too, apparently.

I really want to know how you got that out of my comment. I really do. It’s fascinating.

My comment was self admitted unnecessary and off topic. But, man, this response has me so interested. Can you please explain to my little brain your clear moral superiority and how you came to this beautiful conclusion from it?

    Good for them.

Though I really doubt fascists actually care about women’s sports all that much in general. And if they do it isn’t “GASP Wokies won!!!”, it’s more “GASP who let them out of the kitchen!!”.

Lily Munster had skunk vibes, and rocked the fuck out of it without being a Pepe “Epstein” LePew type. Those are raccoon vibes in the athlete’s hair, and she is also rocking them.

Edit: side note, I know that Morticia is always gonna be our main Gothic love between the two, but damn Lily Munster doesn’t get nearly enough love. She was just as amazing of a woman and mother as Morticia Addams.

Edit 2: I personally think that Lily Munster was ADD or ADHD coded because she dances through constant “sudden disasters,” which is exactly where ADD and ADHD people THRIVE. Morticia on the other hand managed to foresee and stave off most of the minor “disasters” that Lily had to deal with because of the format of the two shows. It makes Morticia look far more “in control,” of the neighborhood and the local world, but Lily is far more “in touch” with all the ways her family can have shortcomings and manages to gracefully help them overcome their problems.
