    I’d argue The Last of Us shouldn’t be a show or a movie.

    It is character focused, and even though the show is good, it’s fundamentally an adaption of a story which has already been told.

    Fallout (as a series) is less character focused, and more focused on the world - which is very fleshed out, making it a great platform to build upon.

    You could argue the games already contain meta-narratives in book-form; often the story of the locations you visit is unveiled through progressive terminal entries or notes.

    I see no issue with telling another story within the world Bethesda/Obsidian have established, which retain the core feel of Fallout, minus he player choice.

    One might say “but the player choice is what makes it Fallout”.

    Fair, but isn’t hearing the stories of another persons experiences with the game just as interesting as your own?
