I’d always get errors with the /tmp folder when running rootless, I hope its better now.

I’ve moved all my docker containers to rootless podman. Took me a bit since I also moved to using quadlets but everything ended up working. Quite happy with the change. The only downside is the lack of GUI to manage quadlets other than podman desktop.
