I was doing some investigation into where all my tech is based and Remarkable e-ink tablets are based out of Oslo, Norway.

I love my Remarkable Paper Pro and was thinking of getting the Move 2 so this is good news to me. Thought I’d share.

Thank you. I need a new e-ink e-reader, and I’ve been researching. These are constantly rated highly, but they are very expensive, and I have no need or desire for expensive note syncing subscriptions (or subscriptions of any kind).

If you want an e-ink reader from Europe, there are InkBook, Toledo Tolino, and Pocketbook. I went with an InkBook myself because it supports the lending app used by my local library as well as Pressreader, which I can also access through my library. Inkbooks are not widely available in my country bu tyou can buy them directly from the company in Poland via inkbook.eu.

They are e-ink tablets, not e-readers. They’re meant for note taking and annotating PDFs.
